BEST PRIME DAY FINDS IF YOU’RE PLANNING ON SHOPPING
TOP DEALS YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS THIS YEAR
Okay, let’s be honest about Prime Day for a second. It’s basically Black Friday’s summer cousin—lots of hype, questionable “deals,” and that weird pressure to buy stuff you don’t actually need. And yes, I also take issue with the Amazonification of everything. But if you’re already planning to shop (and trust me, I see you adding things to your cart), allow me to share some of the items I find useful enough to recommend.
I’ve been through enough Prime Days to know the difference between actual steals and marketing tricks (plus that might be my day job). So here’s my curated list of finds that are actually worth your money, the stuff that’ll make you go “why didn’t I get this sooner?” instead of “why is this still in the box six months later?”
Grab your coffee (or wine, no judgment), and let’s dive into the Prime Day finds that won’t disappoint.
Travel Essentials: For Your Next Adventure (Or Business Trip)
My Ride or Die Backpack
I will never not hype this backpack! The pockets. The charger port. The sytlish design. The way it hooks over my carryon handle. This backpack has been (literally) around the world with me and is still holding steady. Did I mention the pockets? I have an electronics pocket, a snack pocket, a tissue pocket, a toiletries pocket, and water bottle pocket. My favorite part is that it sits upright like a cute little doggie begging for treats instead of slumping over. Forever obsessed.
Might buy another in a different color. It comes in TWENTY!
The Travel Bag That Gets It
Can we talk about how most travel bags are designed by people who clearly never leave their house? This one actually makes sense. It actually holds all your toiletries, and has compartments that don’t require a PhD to figure out, and looks sleek enough to replace the gallon ziplock bags you have been dragging your shampoo in. Bonus: TSA approved.
The Gym Bag That Does Double Duty
This isn’t just a gym bag—it’s your weekend warrior’s best friend. Separate compartments for clean clothes, dirty clothes, shoes, and toiletries. Finally, someone understood that we don’t want our clean clothes next to our sweaty sneakers. It even comes with a toiletry bag because apparently miracles do happen.
I take this on overnights or on two day trips. Sometimes I even pack it in my car if I know I will be going from gym, to meeting, to kayaking, to book club drinks.
The Charger That Saves Your Sanity
Portable chargers are like hair ties, you never have one when you desperately need one. Like me in London completely freaking out and buying one from King’s Cross.
This one has built-in cables (genius) and an AC plug, so you’re not hunting for outlets or cables like you’re on some twisted treasure hunt. It’s compact enough to fit in your purse but powerful enough to save your dying phone multiple times. I got a similar model as a freebie and upgraded to this when it died.
Fitness & Wellness: Because Self-Care Isn’t Selfish
The Scale That Tells You Everything
Look, I know scales can be controversial. When I stopped tracking my weight but still wanted *metrics*, this is the one I got. It syncs to your phone, tracks more than just weight (muscle mass, body fat, BMI—the whole shebang), and gives you actual data instead of just making you feel bad. It’s like having a personal trainer that doesn’t judge your late-night snacking habits.
I recently discovered you can add profiles for everyone in your house, so when someone asks you on the fly what your kid’s weight is for a tournament, you might actually know.
Workout cover-ups that are comfy
I am a big top, little shorts type of girl. I want a comfortable pump up cover when I am warming up.
Also some days I am feeling self-conscious, so I just want a cover up. This oversized tee hits that sweet spot of not looking like a tent, comfortable enough for workouts, cute enough to wear to brunch after. And yes, it doubles as the perfect sleep shirt.
The Tennis Dresses That Make Everything Look Intentional
My friend recommended this and I am in love. A good “all in one” dress is what everyone needs for the summer.
These aren’t just for tennis (thank goodness, because my backhand is questionable at best). They’re for anyone who wants to look like they have their fitness life together, even if your last workout was three weeks ago. The built-in shorts are a game-changer, and they photograph beautifully for those post-workout selfies. There is also a little bit of shape wear happening in the tummy area.
Healthy Living: Making Good Choices Easier
he Spread That Won’t Ruin Your Goals
Here’s the thing about healthy eating—it’s easier when you actually enjoy what you’re eating. This chocolate hazelnut spread has no added sugar but doesn’t taste like cardboard (miracle!). It tastes like the real Nutella (which is basically a cup of sugar that a hazelnut sneezed at).
Perfect on fruit, whole grain toast, sourdough, or honestly, straight from the jar when you’re having one of those days.
The Water Bottle That Makes Hydration Happen
I know, I know—another water bottle. But this one is preferable to the Stanleys everyone has. The handle makes it easy to carry when your hands are full, 40oz means you’re not constantly refilling it, and the straw makes you drink more water without thinking about it. Plus, it fits in most cup holders (the real MVP feature).
Nuts. That Taste Good.
Skinny Dipped nuts. My go to snack when I don’t feel like eating or don’t want something that is going to weigh me down. Protein, carbs, and a little bit of sweetness. My favorite flavors are the lemon and the seasonal peppermint for the winter months.
Beauty & Self-Care: Looking Good, Feeling Better
The Self-Tanner That Forgives Mistakes
Self-tanning is an art form, and most of us are still finger-painting. This mousse is forgiving enough for beginners but effective enough to give you that “I just got back from vacation” glow without the sun damage. And yes, it washes off your hands easily. (Or you can use this back applier and mitt).
Sunscreen for Your Hair!
I have burned my part enough times to know that I want coverage up there. Sadly, I am not a hat girl. So for myself and anyone else who doesn’t want to spray sticky sunscreen on their heads, this mist is for us. Clean ingredients means it is good for kiddos too.
The Sunscreen That Multitasks Like a Boss
This is sunscreen for people who want to look good while protecting their skin. It’s tinted (so you don’t look like a ghost), has SPF 50 (because sun damage is real), and includes anti-aging ingredients. Basically, it’s your morning skincare routine in one bottle.
I wear it everyday so I don’t have to remember to put on sunscreen before my lunchtime walk.
Skincare That Makes You Glow!
Once upon a time someone at book club recommended this brand. Three years later it is still my favorite. Soft, supple, and glowing are my results when I use it. The scent is barely there and it never bothers my skin. Plus the travel sizes are perfect for my bag on the go.
Swimwear & Summer Vibes: Yes. You have a bikini body.
The Bikini That Photographs Well
Let’s talk bikinis for a second. Most either give you weird tan lines or require an engineering degree to put on. This color-block set strikes the perfect balance, cheeky without being scandalous, supportive without being boring. The V-neck is universally flattering, and you can feel like you finally stepped outside the boring black staple in your closet.
The Long Line Bikini That Makes Sense
For those days when you want more coverage but still want to look put-together, this tankini top is perfect. I’ve worn it as just a top. The cut-out details and twist knot design give you that trendy look without constant adjusting. It is especially great for my large chested ladies who maybe have a little too much side boob for a string bikini (yes I am talking about myself).
Night Out: Looking Effortlessly Put-Together
The Dress That Does All the Work
Formal events are stressful enough without worrying about your outfit. This dress has built-in shapewear (YESSS!), enough sparkle to catch the light beautifully, and a design that’s forgiving in all the right places. The square neck and ruched details are classic for a reason—they work on everyone. I even managed to skip a bra, which is not common for a 36G.
The Romper That’s Actually Comfortable
Rompers can be tricky, they’re either too young or too formal, never just right. This one-shoulder design hits that sweet spot between fun and sophisticated. The sequins catch light beautifully, and you can actually move (and dance) without worrying about anything riding up or falling down.
Organization & Life Hacks: Making Adulting Easier
The Craft Mat That Saves Everything
This isn’t just for crafts, it’s for anyone who’s ever tried to do their nails without making a mess, organize small items, or just needed a clean surface that isn’t your dining table. I definitely have “borrowed” this from my kids a few times for organizational projects. The detachable cup is perfect for holding tiny things that always seem to disappear.
The Jewelry Stand That Actually Works
If you wear earrings regularly, you know the struggle. Everything gets tangled, lost, or both. This stand keeps your favorites visible and organized, which means you’re not frantically searching for a matching pair while you’re already running late. It’s like having a tiny jewelry store on your dresser.
The Journal for Real Life
Sometimes you need gratitude with a sense of humor. This journal gets that life isn’t always Instagram-perfect, and that’s okay. It’s for those days when you’re grateful your coffee was hot and your commute didn’t make you cry. Real gratitude for real life.
Look, Prime Day is happening whether we participate or not. But if you’re going to spend your money, spend it on things that’ll actually improve your day-to-day life. These aren’t random products with good reviews, they’re items that I love and I think you will too.
And honestly? You deserve to feel put-together, organized, and confident. These finds make that a little easier without breaking the bank. Happy shopping!
